Phoenix is filled with existing concrete block homes. While this wouldn’t be our choice for a new build for a long list of reasons, we have developed a variety of ways to optimize what is already built.

This example is our simplest, lowest cost way to bring health and comfort to a block wall while preserving the inherent durability.

This wall system leaves the exterior surface as is. While we would prefer to add insulation to the exterior for performance, this saves tons of cost and many locations prefer or require leaving the exterior as exposed block. The interior is coated with Visconn for airtightness and smart vapor control.

Wood framing filled with Havelock Wool PRO batts on the interior acts as a service cavity, air filter, moisture buffer and insulation.
