The Camps

A winding trail connecting four camps

Nobody climbs an epic mountain in one go and a home shouldn't be any different.

FAQ

Because direct beats out metaphors.

Can I change between plans?

Yes, at the end of each contract we are happy to adjust to fit how much of the load you want to carry.

Our contracts are based on helping you get from one camp to another camp, or to the summit. We set expectations not deadlines because every project has its own lifecycle.

I have an Architect/Builder/Engineer, why do I need a Guide?

A Guide works alongside the rest of your team — we focus specifically on Good Building's 5 Factors, which isn't most Architects', Builders', or Engineers' day-to-day focus.

How do you approach mold?

Prevention first: moisture control in the design and materials, not just remediation after the fact.

What does it mean to have a healthy home?

A home that supports the people living in it — air, light, and materials that work with your body instead of against it.

Do I have to use your O.No process?

No, but it's the fastest path we know to a Good Building outcome — we're happy to adapt to a process you already trust.

Why does the O.No process exist?

Because good decisions made early are cheap, and the same decisions made late are expensive — O.No is how we make them early.

Hear what it was like for a fellow climber to complete his journey.

If you have 30 min we'd love to hear more about the mountain you're contemplating.

A fuzzy mirage is totally cool. Our job is to help bring your vision into focus.
