This is the only real innovation in fiberglass insulation. Knauf has managed to create a red list free fiberglass. The performance is still similar but the toxins are greatly reduced. Just don’t get the kraft faced version, they still make that for some reason.

Notes

• This insulation won’t go out of its way to help, but at least it won’t drag you down in extreme weather.

• The definition of middle of the road.

• Old fiberglass is still gross and dusty. But at least it won’t try to bring rot and mold.

• Still itchy and annoying to install but reduced chemical exposure is true bonus for the massive amount of fiberglass installed each day.
